## Unit 2 - Algebra & Factoring

In this unit of the course, we will review the algebra skills from grade 9 and expand on them to manipulate equations, solve for missing values, and create the skills required for our future in mathematics.

### 2.1 - Expanding & Simplifying

A: Fri. Sept. 25
B: Mon. Sept. 28

### 2.5b - Non-Monic Trinomials: The Cross Method

This is a second method (bit of a trick) for factoring non-monic trinomials (when 'a' is not 1). It's just another way of doing it.

### 2.6 - Factoring: A Difference of Squares

A: Mon. Sept. 28
B: Tues. Sept. 29

Today's video lesson seems long due to extra examples after the 15 min mark. Feel free to stop after 15 minutes.
