Unit 4 - Statistical Literacy (Ch. 4)

In this chapter, students will learn to interpret statistical data and to assess whether conclusions based on statistical analysis are valid. Statistics are all around us - in news articles, information pamphlets, political agendas and platforms, advertisements, and sports. We consume media at an alarming rate. How can you be sure the information you are receiving is correct? Are you being misled?

As usual, this outline is subject to change without notice. Attend class for the most up-to-date version.
